White B Grade Wires

White paper covered B grade wires that are essential for flower making. They are also excellent for creating decorations on wires such as hearts, stars and butterflies.

Use florist tape to fix multiple wires together to create stems or branches for a flower spray.

To help you decide on the type of wire you will need for your flower or spray, you need to understand the different sizes that we offer.

If you need a strong supporting wire that will hold weight for example, Arum Lilies or for Model making, you will need to go for an 18 or 20-gauge wire.

However, if you need a wire for light or delicate flowers, such as jasmine or blossoms, then you will need 28 gauge.

As a general rule, for sugar flower and foliage making, 24 and 26 gauge are ideal.

White paper covered B grade wires

18 gauge to 22 gauge wires come in packs of 25, 24 gauge and above wires come in packs of 50.

Uses for wire gauges (the smaller the gauge the thicker the wire)

18 gauge : largest flowers and supports for modelling

20 gauge : large flowers and heavy decorations

22 gauge : flowers, large leaves, large decorations

24 gauge : flowers, leaves and decorations such as stars and hearts
