The Approximate size is 24cm high by 16.5cm wide, at the widest and highest point. These number cakes will serve about 12 portions.
You get two in one with our 6 and 9 templates as they are the same, just turn it upside down for an alternative number.
All our number templates are 3mm thick pink acrylic, making them robust which allows them to be reused time and time again.
After making number cakes ourselves we have found that single cake numbers fit nicely on a 12" x 10" oblong cake board or drum if you want a little more room above and below the number cake go for a 14" x 10" and if you want some room all around your number for adding names and decorations have a 12" square cake board or drum.
We have 12" and 14" boxes with lids to accommodate these sizes.
For double numbers, they will fit perfectly on a 16" x 12", and for a little more room 18" x 12" if you need room all around both numbers for extra decoration opt for an 18" x 14" oblong cake drum or an board.
Our oblong boxes fit 16" x 12" and 18" x 14", we also have 16" and 18" boxes and lids.
We have tested cutting our acrylic numbers out of cake, and Numbers 0, 3, 8, 6 and 9 (which are the same turned around) can be cut out of a 10" round cake,
whereas the 1, 2, 4, 5 and 7 need to be cut out of a 10" square cake.
These number templates will save you money on tin hire or purchasing expensive number cake tins.
Hand wash in warm soapy water and store for future use.
