Paste & Gel Colouring
The main benefit of paste or gel colours is they do not alter the consistency of your sugar paste, fondant icing, marzipan, modelling and flower pastes when added. Paste colours are highly concentrated and you can adjust shades depending on the quantity you add.
If you want to colour buttercream, pastry or cake batter whether made from scratch or from one of our popular cake mixes the oil-based colours are the way to go. Australian-made Colour Mill is the choice of most customers but British-made Sugarflair oil-based colours are also excellent. Oil-based colour can also be used for colouring chocolate.
