Please note: Heart cake tins and heart cake boards are generally not made by the same companies and as such the proportions of the heart shape they use differ slightly.
If you plan to put your heart cake on a heart board the same size it's likely that it will not fit exactly and you may need to trim your cake. If you put your cake on a board 2 or 3" larger then the slight difference in shape is much less noticeable.
