Instructions:

Cover an 8" round cake with 1kg of Roll 'n' Cover white sugarpaste on a 10" baby blue foil cake drum.

Knead together the left over sugarpaste and roll to approximately ½" thick and cut with a non stick knife into random shaped triangles. Then using the snowflake cutters emboss onto the triangles to add some texture and detail.

Arrange the triangles on the cake and attach with edible glue for large jutting ice sheets. If you're feeling really adventurous you can also use isomalt or create your own sugar glass to achieve the same effect.

Roll out flower paste to approximately 2mm thick and cut out snowflakes, some of each size. You'll need quite a few of these, at least 20.

Cut a few silver wires into different lengths so some are longer than others you'll need about 6 but you can use more if you want. Dip the tip of the wires into edible glue and then push each one into one of the snowflakes.

Allow all of your snowflakes, including the ones on wires to dry completely. When dry paint with edible glue and sprinkle with edible glitter.

With a palette knife, dab some royal icing onto the cake to look like snow, place Elsa, Anna and Olaf in position on the snow. When the royal icing dries it will hold them in place.

Place the ribbon around the base of the cake, attaching at the back with a blob of royal icing.

Now push the flower pick into the centre of the cake, fill it with some more royal icing and insert the wires of the wired snowflakes, splaying them out to give the effect of it snowing.

Attach a few extra sparkly snowflakes to the sides and top of the cake, you can also add a few to the drum. Then sprinkle with white pearlised sugar crystals to complete your cake.
